LASIK Surgery 

LASIK (Laser In-Situ Keratomileusis) is a surgical procedure that corrects nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism using an Excimer Laser. The procedure comprises two main steps: 

• The Glass Layer Separation Process, which involves separating the corneal layer using Femto Laser. This takes only 30 to 60 seconds to create a thin corneal flap of about 100 microns. 

• The Laser Shooting Procedure, where the Excimer Laser is used to reshape the cornea, allowing light and vision to pass properly through the refracted eye. 

The entire procedure takes only about 15 minutes for both eyes and offers high accuracy. It can correct visual acuity from 0.75 D to -10.00 D, depending on the corneal thickness. Patients can expect 80-90% visibility the day after surgery. 

We offer three types of vision correction: 

1. This procedure is aimed at permanent vision correction. It's suitable for people with nearsightedness from -0.75 to -10.00 D, or astigmatism not more than -5.00 D, depending on corneal thickness. 

2. PRK Vision Correction is another permanent vision correction procedure with a recovery time of 2-3 days. It's ideal for people with a thin cornea or nearsightedness of -0.75 to -4.00 D, and astigmatism that does not exceed -3.00 D. 

3. Tran PRK vision correction has a shorter recovery time of about 1-2 days and offers permanent results. It's suitable for people with a thin cornea or nearsightedness of -0.75 to -6.00 D, and an astigmatism that does not exceed -3.00 D. In this procedure, a laser is used to directly reshape the cornea for smoother wound healing. 

Before undergoing any of these procedures, patients will have a thorough eye examination to assess the condition of their eyes.
