Vaccine against 4 influenza virus strains (Home Service)

The World Health Organization (WHO) has advised how to Influenza prevention by recommending influenza vaccination in both children and adults, especially the elderly.

 

1. Vaccine against 3 influenza virus strains

2. Vaccine against 4 influenza virus strains

 

The four strains can cover more B strains, i.e., they cover both H1N1 and H3N2 strain A and strain B, both Victoria and Yamagata families. Therefore, it increases the ability to cover influenza viruses with outbreaks. This reduces the risk of illness and death.

The WHO recommends influenza vaccination for children and adults, especially the elderly, to prevent illness. Vaccines are available against 3 or 4 influenza strains, with the latter offering broader protection against both A and B strains, enhancing defense against outbreaks and reducing illness and death risks.
