Preparation for a health check-up includes abstaining from food and beverages for at least 12 hours prior to the check-up, bringing an ID or passport to the staff at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time, getting enough sleep, and bringing any relevant health history or medications. It's important to refrain from drinking alcohol 24 hours before the check-up, especially if receiving an X-ray or endoscopy.
