Conference on Luobing Theory in Thailand Supports Global Expansion of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Bangkok – Experts and academics from 13 countries and regions gathered in Bangkok to share their latest research on the Luobing theory, also known as the theory of parallel diseases, to promote the high-quality development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and accelerate its global dissemination.

The 20th International Conference on Luobing Theory Abroad was held on Saturday (September 21). Thanakrit Chittareeyarat, Assistant Minister of Public Health, stated that TCM has become a bridge of friendship between Thailand and China, and this conference has enhanced the understanding of the latest research and the development direction of the Luobing theory.

Chao Zhaojun, President of the Luobing Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Thailand, mentioned that the Luobing theory offers new concepts and methods for preventing and treating chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases. It also provides unique approaches to solving various issues in modern medicine.

Lin Tanqian, President of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Thailand, remarked that hosting this conference in Thailand reflects the growing global influence of the Luobing theory, reaching a new level.

Moreover, the Luobing theory has achieved significant results after over 40 years of collaborative efforts by experts, making it a model of innovation in TCM.

Experts at the conference also engaged in in-depth discussions on the successes, challenges, and opportunities for TCM in advancing onto the global stage.
